**Terms and Conditions for TaylorMade Costume Design**

Welcome to TaylorMade Costume Design LLC, where we specialize in designing and creating unique, custom-made costumes tailored to your specifications! By placing an order with us, you agree to the following terms and conditions, which are designed to ensure a smooth and transparent process for both parties.

1. **General Terms**

1.1 **Agreement**

By purchasing from TaylorMade Costume Design LLC, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. If you do not agree, you should refrain from using our services.

1.2 **Custom Orders**

All costumes are custom-made to your order based on the specifications you provide. Once the order is placed, you are committing to a custom project, which may require significant time and resources to complete.

2. **Ordering Process**

2.1 **Custom Design Consultation**

Before proceeding with production, we may offer a consultation to discuss your costume design, materials, sizing, and other preferences. This can be done via email, phone, or in-person appointment.

2.2 **Order Confirmation**

Once we have agreed on the design, you will receive an order confirmation. The details of the order, including pricing, timelines, and final design approval, must be confirmed before production begins.

3. **Pricing and Payments**

3.1 **Pricing**

All prices are quoted based on the complexity of the design, materials, and labor involved in creating your custom costume. Pricing may vary depending on your design specifications.

3.2 **Deposits**

A non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total price is required to begin work on your costume. This deposit ensures that your order is secured and that we can proceed with the necessary materials and labor.

3.3 **Final Payment**

The remaining balance is due upon completion of the costume, before shipment or pickup. We will notify you when your costume is ready for delivery.

4. **Production Timeline**

4.1 **Estimated Timeframe**

The estimated production time for custom costumes is typically 1 week, depending on the complexity of the design and our current workload. This will be confirmed after the consultation process.

4.2 **Delays**

While we strive to meet deadlines, delays may occur due to factors such as material availability or unexpected challenges. We will notify you as soon as possible if there are any changes to the estimated timeline.

5. **Shipping and Delivery**

5.1 **Shipping Charges**

Shipping fees are not included in the initial cost and will be calculated based on your location and the size/weight of your costume.

5.2 **Delivery Times**

Delivery times vary depending on your location and shipping method. We are not responsible for delays caused by the shipping carrier once the costume has been dispatched.

5.3 **International Orders**

International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, or import fees associated with their order.

6. **Returns and Exchanges**

6.1 **No Returns on Custom Orders**

Due to the bespoke nature of custom-made costumes, we cannot accept returns or exchanges once production has begun or upon completion of the costume. However, if a reasonable alteration can be made, we will always try to accomodate our clients because we appreciate you!

6.2 **Defects or Errors**

If there are defects in workmanship or materials that fall outside the agreed-upon design, we will work with you to correct the issue at no additional cost. Please notify us within 2 days of receiving the costume if any defects are found.

7. **Sizing**

7.1 **Accurate Measurements**

It is your responsibility to provide accurate measurements for your costume. We will provide guidelines on how to take these measurements, and we are happy to assist with the process if needed. If you are located in the New England area, you are more than welcomed to schedule a time to come in to the shop for us to take the necessary measurements.

7.2 **Alterations**

Custom-made costumes are created based on the measurements provided. If the costume does not fit as expected due to inaccurate measurements, alterations may incur additional charges.

8. **Intellectual Property**

8.1 **Design Ownership**

All designs created by TaylorMade Costume Design LLC are the intellectual property of the company. You are granted a limited license to use the design for personal use only. Reproduction or commercial use of the design without our permission is prohibited.

8.2 **Customer Designs**

If you provide your own design or concept, you retain ownership of the intellectual property rights to that design. However, by submitting it to us, you grant us permission to use it in the creation of your costume. We understand however, that some items purchased from the shop are “revamps” based on preexisting pieces created by other companies. We do not reserve the right to ownership over those original designs.

9. **Limitation of Liability**

9.1 **Use of Costumes**

While our costumes are made to the highest standards of craftsmanship and safety, TaylorMade Costume Design LLC is not responsible for any injury, loss, or damage resulting from the use or wear of our costumes.

9.2 **Liability Limitations**

Our liability is limited to the cost of the costume itself. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use of our products or services.

10. **Privacy and Data Protection**

10.1 **Personal Information**

We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information. All customer data provided during the ordering process will be used solely for the purpose of fulfilling your order and will not be shared with third parties unless required by law.

10.2 **Data Security**

We take reasonable measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure.

11. **Changes to Terms**

11.1 **Modification of Terms**

TaylorMade Costume Design LLC reserves the right to update or modify these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Your continued use of our services after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
